This Port Moody project was undertaken to use the space in the kitchen more effectively. One way of doing this was to incorporate some angles into the kitchen to allow for a longer peninsula as well as to smooth traffic flow. A key component was to maximize the counter space in the kitchen by increasing the depth of the peninsula top and adding additional storage space below.
Products used: Maple "Hazelnut" stained doors from Nickels Cabinets; 3cm Cambria "Canterbury" engineered quartz countertops
